Dual flush potty-revolution and water conservation
By on May 16th, 2008
That elegant potty is a dual flush toilet which reduces water usage up to 67%. That’s a huge savings and an essential piece to any bathroom.
Now kind of a no-brainer, dual flush toilets, (you know the ones that have a button for #1 liquids and a #2 button for everything else) are easy to install and save a ton of water. They are also beautiful and come in a variety of shapes and sizes.
The flush buttons…
Yesterday I was once again reminded of Portland, Oregon’s commitment to the environment. While at the airport. I noticed that all the toilets in the bathrooms were dual flush and thought about the mind-blowing amount of savings of our most precious resource. Think about how many thousands of people a day travel through that location.
May the dual-flush potty revolution spread around the globe.

They have these dual-flush toilets in many parts of the world including the UK, Fiji, and New Zealand. Why can’t our country get its act together??
